The agency DUCK & Partners - Strategic Creativity has mandated Gaspacho Films for the postproduction of a series of promotionnal videos for Pfizer Animal Health.
The creation of The Lyrical Creation Company Chants Libres entitled " L"Opéra Féerie: L'eau qui danse, la pomme qui chante et l'oiseau qui dit la vérité" - of which Gaspacho Films oversaw the filming and production of the DVD - is a finalist of the 14th Opus Awards in four categories : creation of the year, concert of the year-Montreal, concert of the year-Modern and Contemporary Music, as well as album/dvd of the year-Modern and Contemporary Music (Nouvel Ensemble Moderne, Lorraine Vaillancourt, direction, DIFFUSION iMéDIA/Gaspacho Films/HGagnon Distribution). The awards ceremony will take place on January 30th 2011 at 15 h 30 at the Salle Claude Champagne of Montreal University, located at 200, avenue Vincent-d'Indy.

The film "La Guérison" by Louis-Thomas Pelletier has won the Télé-Québec prize for the best short film at the 29ième festival du cinéma international en Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Kudos to the whole team!

The shoot of the fifth film of Manuel A. Codina, "Une porte sur Élise" from the screenplay by the actor Patrice Dussault, will take place this month in Montreal. The film will star Patrice Dussault ("Tout est parfait") and Joachim Tanguay ("De père en flic") in the main roles. Bruno Desrosiers is the film's cinematographer, Valérie-Jeanne Mathieu is artistic director and Alain Bessette is producer.

The eight film of Louis Thomas Pelletier, entitled "Cheese", has just been shot in Montréal, starring Christophe Vienne, Albert Kwan and Jeanne Nguyen. Bruno Desrosiers acted as cinematographer, Manuel A. Codina was behind the camera and Alain Bessette is producing.
Manuel A. Codina will next month direct his fifth film, entitled "Une Porte Sur Élise". The film will be produced by Alain Bessette from a script by the actor Patrice Dussault, who will also act in the film. The complete cast will be announced later.

The shoot of the fourth film of Alain Fournier, "Le Poids Du Vide", will take place this month in Montreal, starring Simone-Élise Girard ("E.R.", "Die", "Music-Hall") and Vassili Schneider ("Grande Ourse"). Mathieu Laverdière is the film's cinematographer and Alain Bessette is executive producer.
The film "La Guérison" by Louis-Thomas Pelletier will be presented in Official Selection at the NSI Online Short Film Festival in Winnipeg.

The Opéra Féerie is now at last on line on the Radio-Canada web site, including the Making Of. This work, with a duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes, is the creation of the Compagnie Lyrique de Création Chants Libres, for which Gaspacho Films executed the filming and production of the DVD of this masterpiece presented in November 2009.

Alain Fournier will direct his fourth film, "Le Poids Du Vide", with financing from the SODEC and the Conseil des Arts du Québec. The film will be produced by Alain Fournier from his screenplay, Alain Bessette will be executive producer. Casting will be announced later.
